Ice out records 1945 to 2012: Little Rideau Lake

The record is kept by Lucille Mulville, the matriarch of the family farm at the head of the lake in Westport. It appeared in the March 21, 2013 issue of The Review-Mirror. It’s just too valuable not to distribute online, so here goes.

That is a great history of the “Ice Out” dates and will certainly be used for the 2014 determination! I don’t think my April 1st prediction for this year is going to happen.. but one never knows with the weather!
